We are seeking a 121 Sim instructor. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, work well with pilot students and be an experienced punctual and reliable simulator instructor. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Well qualified candidates will have been a recent 121 Captain, with impeccable customer service skills, and solid work history. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of 121 operations, have a strong work ethic, pay close attention to detail, have a mentor mentality, and have an aptitude for instructing. Additionally, the qualified candidate will be able to respect and maintain confidentiality with ethical, trustworthy sensitive information.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties shall include but are not limited to the following:
PIC Simulator Instructor–
· Lesson planning and operating a full-motion simulator.
· Check pre-flight planning, understand aviation weather, weight and balance, NOTAMS and comfortably conduct a pre and post-flight lesson/briefing.
· Supervise and direct 121 student candidates and evaluate their progress within the training program.
· Complete company required paperwork
· Travel as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Must have conducted flights as a 121 captain
· License: Airline Transport Pilot certificate AMEL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
E170/175 Experience
REQUIREMENTS
· Must possess excellent organizational and computer skills
· Must have a valid unrestricted U.S. driver’s license
· Must have an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land (AMEL)
· Must have an FAA ATP Instrument Rating
· Ability to change with new technology
· Current IFR knowledge and experience
· Must possess basic MS Office knowledge, computer software, and internet proficiency
· Must be able to speak, read, understand and write English
· Must be service oriented and able to work at a fast pace and handle stress and problematic issues well with a good attitude
· Must be able to communicate effectively and work within a team-focused environment
· Must have an outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships and respectful of diverse populations and cultures
· Must be able to pass DOT/FAA compliant pre-employment drug screen and background check
· Must be a good citizen with good moral character
· Must be goal-oriented, have exceptional attention to detail, and work well independently or as a team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
· Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
· Load flight profiles/airports into the simulator database
SHIFT REQUIREMENTS
· Must be available for assigned shifts; including nights, weekends and holidays
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· Must be at least 23 years of age
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
